Our next local gig is at the
Friendship Inn Romiley this Friday 10th September
  It's always nice and
cosy with a great atmosphere
and this one will be extra
special because it's Len &
Debbie's last weekend
there.
This will be the 3rd time
we've played at their leaving do!!!
then on Saturday 11th we're
at the Nursery Inn Heaton
Norris
 a great atmosphere and enthusiastic
crowd
 I was there recently to see Pete Maclaine & the
Clan,
a great entertainer &
band, nice atmosphere, nice people, nice pub.
Good to see Pete's
drummer Steve Gibson again,
he played on a few of my
studio sessions at Revo.
My other favourite regular bands
are The Blues Blasters & The Removal Men
. Keep checking the gigs list,

Our monthly Rising Sun gig has
2 changes
....
we have a wedding and a 60th
party to fit
in
both on the first Saturday in
September &
October.
We're now at the Rising Sun
twice in August but NOT in
September
and we're there on the
16th October instead of the
2nd

On Sunday The Angel in
Denton were serving meals all afternoon and during
the Sunderland-City game on TV
(3pm), the place was packed!!!
After a poor City performance, the UnderCovers put on a great performance and had lots of friends there,
including Louise who knew them.
Then they all came down to Hughes's Bar to see us. . Louise was singing at the White Horse from
2-7pm recently
and raised 400 pounds for Francis

Our first gig at the

  we don't usually do Sunday afternoon gigs but
we'll be doing this one
again,
lots of our friends and a great bunch of regulars
made for a
really
enjoyable afternoon, great family atmosphere
&
food,
well done to Andy & Sandra & Sheila for
all their hard
work.

October.

it was called the Bowling
Green, now Hughes's Bar, just down the
road .

great
  good turn-out of friends & regulars, very
enjoyable

Louise
was away for the end of May Bank Holiday
weekend bringing our run of 22 consecutive Saturday
gigs to an end

final of Altrincham Idol .... and she won it.
Lou was later
interviewed on Imagine FM and they played the winning
song.

Stockport
where she performed
another 3 songs
